Flower Mound hosted its inaugural Fall into Flower Mound festival at the River Walk on Oct. 10-11.

The event included live music performances from acts including the Emerald City Band , students from School of Rock and Marquis of Vaudeville . Other activities included a row of carnival games, a pumpkin patch, a pumpkin decorating area, and rows of vendors and food trucks. Chuck Jennings, the town's director of parks and recreation, said there were 85 total vendors at the festival.
Fall into Flower Mound was the town’s first multiday festival. Jennings said an estimate of 11,000 people attended the festival, with 5,000 visitors on Oct. 10 and 6,000 on Oct. 11.
On Oct. 10, the festival was open from 5-10 p.m., and festivities ran from noon to 10 p.m. Oct. 11.
