Australia Post has announced important deadlines for Aussies looking to send gifts and cards to ensure they land under the Christmas tree on time this upcoming festive season.
Customers hoping for their Christmas goods to arrive by Thursday, December 25 in metro locations should send by parcel postage by December 22 for same state deliveries, or December 19 for interstate deliveries.
Express post parcels should be sent by December 23.
Meanwhile, letters and cards should be posted by December 18 for same state deliveries, or December 16 for interstate deliveries.
Australia Post has warned Aussies sending to or from Tasmania, Western Australia, Northern Territory, or regional and remote towns, should allow a few extra days.
For international deliveries, economy air parcels should be shi
