The two biggest airports in Nevada will not be airing a video about the government shutdown despite a request from a federal transportation agency, with both citing concerns over being accused of political advocacy and breaking federal law.

Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas and Reno-Tahoe International Airport confirmed with the Reno Gazette Journal on Tuesday that they will not show a video blaming Democrats for the shutdown of the federal government.

The Transportation Security Administration asked U.S. airports to play the video, which features Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, at TSA security lines.

The Nevada airports cited several issues with the video, including the appearance of political partisanship.
