While he loves his team’s ability to rally late, Troy head coach Gerad Parker wouldn’t mind seeing the Trojans have command of a game from start to finish.

“I wish we would make it easier at times,” Parker said with a smile on his face during Monday Zoom Media Conference.

Troy, which is gaining a reputation as the Cardiac Trojans, rallied for the second time in three games on Saturday, overcoming a 28-7 deficit entering the second quarter at Texas State for a 48-41 overtime win. They also won a game in dramatic overtime fashion for the second straight week.

Three weeks ago, Troy rallied from a 17-0 fourth-quarter deficit to claim a 21-17 win over Buffalo. A week ago, they beat state rival South Alabama 31-24 in overtime.
