On Tuesday, a restraining order was approved against Central Florida Congressman Cory Mills, who was accused earlier this year of threatening his former girlfriend.

Mills, who represents parts of Orange, Seminole, Volusia and Flagler counties, was accused of cyberstalking Lindsey Langston, his ex-girlfriend and reigning Miss United States, as well as a Columbia County Republican state committeewoman.

Court records show the couple began dating in 2021 and lived together in Mills’ New Smyrna Beach home. Langston said she left Mills after news surfaced that another woman living in Mills’ Washington, D.C., home accused him of assault. That woman later withdrew her accusation.
