Residents near a street where an 11-year-old boy was struck by a hit-and-run driver said they want the heartless motorist captured and put in jail.

Cops have yet to catch up with the driver of a black Acura that struck a boy on a stand-up electric scooter Monday afternoon in Gravesend and kept going, officials said.

The crash also injured a 25-year-old man who was struck by debris from the collision, police said. The boy remained in critical condition on Tuesday, officials said. The man was released from the hospital where he was taken, a relative said.

“I hope that they catch this guy,” said an outraged neighbor, who has lived near the crash site for 30 years. “And we’re all praying for this little boy that he’s going to get better.”
