A Spider-Man suit found at a beachside property located 20 minutes from where William Tyrrell went missing in 2014 is not linked to the missing boy, police have confirmed.

Police responded to reports a Spider-Man suit had been discovered at a property on Beach Place in Dunbogan, east of Kendall on the NSW Mid North Coast, on Monday.

The property was searched yesterday, however nothing else of interest was found.

The outfit was then forensically examined by detectives from the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad.

It has now been ruled out as having any connection to the William investigation.

William was last seen wearing a Spider-Man suit while playing outside on September 12, 2014 at his foster grandmother's home.
