DAVENPORT, Ill. (KWQC) - West Locust traffic will be detoured because of sewer repairs, the city posted on Tuesday.

West Locust Street from Vine to Myrtle will be closed beginning Wednesday for emergency repairs to a private sewer and water line, according to the city.

The repairs are expected to be finished Friday.

Drivers should follow detour using Gaines to Lombard to Marquette, or Marquette to 14th to Gaines, the city said.
