Jen Affleck dedicated her week to feeling better.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, who is competing on this season of Dancing With the Stars , showed up to dance for the Oct. 14 "Dedication Night" with pro partner Jan Ravnik after spending the week sick in bed .

Jen and Jan danced a Viennese Waltz to Lauren Daigle 's song "Rescue" in honor of her mom Maria as well as her and husband Zac Affleck 's kids Nora , 3, Lucas , 2, and Penelope , 3 months.

"This last year has been one of the hardest years of my life with prenatal and postpartum depression—if you're a mom, you know," Jen shared of the meaningful dance during the episode. "I didn't realize how much my mom went through until I became a mother myself. So, this is for all the moms out there."
