The newest season of Netflix's "Monster" not only depicts killer Ed Gein and his macabre crimes, it also shows him with a female companion whose role in his life has been disputed.

Charlie Hunnam plays the man who became known as The Butcher of Plainfield for the grisly crimes uncovered at his Wisconsin farm in 1957. Gein admitted to killing two local women and robbing graves at a local cemetery to make ghoulish items like bowls, lampshades and upholstered chairs out of human skin and bone.

In "Monster: The Ed Gein Story," actor Suzanna Son plays a woman named Adeline Watkins, who appears to be Gein’s girlfriend and a woman who shares some of his interest in gruesome murders.
