San Diego State is set to tip off its 105th season of men's basketball on Friday.
The Aztecs are coming off 21-10 overall record in 2024-25, with a 14-6 mark in the Mountain West Conference, which put them in fourth place. After receiving an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament, the Aztecs lost in a First Four game to North Carolina.
State will be looking to return to the NCAA Tournament for the seventh time in the past eight seasons.
Head Coach Brian Dutcher is entering his ninth season as SDSU head coach and has a career record of 198-68. He's the only coach in program history to post 20-plus wins in each of his first eight seasons.
SDSU is welcoming back four starters from last season's team: senior wing Reese Dixon-Waters, guard Miles Byrd, guard B.J. Davis and center Magoon Gwath
