When and where to see 'Little Shop of Horrors' in Gastonia

This year, Lauren Parker’s desire to direct the musical, “Little Shop of Horrors” outweighed her concern that she could not do it justice.

So, on the last two weekends in October, the Little Theater of Gastonia’s production of “Little Shop of Horrors” will be live on stage.

“It is a show I have wanted to do for a really long time, but it has always kind of scared me to do it because of how much goes into the production, specifically puppetry,” she said. “It is a really big production that is sometimes a little more difficult for a community theater to put on without it looking silly.”
