An argument between two men inside a senior living facility in West Philadelphia escalated to a shooting leaving one of the men badly hurt on Tuesday night, according to police.
Officers were called to Bernice Arms on the 6000 block of Baltimore Avenue just before 8 p.m. on Oct. 14 for reports of a shooting inside an apartment complex, Philadelphia Police Department Chief Inspector Scott Small said.

When police got there, they found a 67-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his stomach, Small said. The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was placed in critical condition.
