CLEVELAND (WKBN) - Veteran catcher Austin Hedges has officially re-signed with the Cleveland Guardians on a one-year deal worth $4 million.
According to the report, the deal also includes $500,000 in incentives.
This season, Hedges appeared in 68 games with Cleveland. He posted a batting average of .161 with five home runs and 10 RBIs.
In 11 Major League seasons, Hedges has played for the Padres, Pirates, and Rangers as well as Cleveland.
He owns a career average of .185 with 74 career homers and 248 RBIs.
