People across the country are gathering this Saturday to take part in more No Kings protests, with several planned around Southwest Michigan.
Organizer Ryan Bates says there are twice as many protests planned in Michigan this weekend compared to the ones in June.
“ There were 50 No Kings protests in June, just here in Michigan, and all over the country there are more than 2 ,000 organized,” Bates said. “I n June, 5 million people attended the No Kings protests, making it the second largest day of protest in our nation’s history.”
The protests are in opposition of the Trump administration.
There will be a protest in St. Joseph at Park Street and Main Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Other location
