PIERZ —Malin Youngberg won the Granite Ridge Conference Championship in 19:32.2 to lead the Little Falls to a conference title Tuesday, Oct. 14.

Rose Jarnot placed third in 19:43.3. Haddlie Dobis finished in seventh and Peyton Hoheisel was 10th.

Quinn Gruber paced the Pierz girls to fourth with her 15th-place finish. Kyra Rohrbach paced the Pequot Lakes girls as she was ninth.

Pequot Lakes’ Liam Zins ran a second-place 16:32.1 as the Patriot boys won the conference title. Pequot’s James Johnson finished fourth and Connor Jansen placed sixth.

The Pierz boys placed second and were led by Wyatt Betsinger, who finished third in 16:33.8. Caden Lucking was ninth.

Little Falls finished sixth and was led by Blake Nolan, who placed 12th.
