Mehidy Hasan Miraz admitted that Bangladesh are in such a dire situation in ODIs that batting out 50 overs is now their first priority. They went down by 200 runs against Afghanistan , bowled out for 93 runs in 27.1 overs. It follows their 109 all out in 28.3 overs in the previous game on the tour of the UAE.

Both innings followed a similar pattern. Bangladesh's top-order couldn't get them off to a good start with only Saif Hassan hitting some big ones, before Rashid Khan ran through the middle order.
