A lottery player who scooped £500,000 from a £3 scratchcard met a horrific end, with friends admitting the win was the "worst thing" to happen to her. Helen Ford's tragic tale has resurfaced after another lottery winner revealed they'd been rushed to hospital just three months after their huge jackpot.
