Demands Infrastructure Boost
Bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla conducted a major review of the Public Health and Medical Education Department on Tuesday at the Mantralaya, issuing strict directives to expedite recruitment and infrastructure projects.
Shukla prioritized the swift completion of hiring for nursing, ANM, and other technical cadres to strengthen human resources and improve healthcare quality across the state. He reviewed ongoing recruitment, instructing officials to finalize pending appointments. Specifically, the counselling for 515 vacant posts from 2023 began on October 13, and the process for 972 posts from 2024 will follow immediately. Proposals for approximately 1,260 nursing posts and 711 Nursing Tutors are currently under action.
