It’s getting less expensive to fuel up at the gas pump in Corpus Christi, data from the GasBuddy survey showed.
Average gasoline prices in the city have fallen 22.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.61 per gallon on Oct. 13, according to the survey results.
Gas prices in Corpus Christi are now 2.5 cents per gallon lower than they were a month ago and 14.9 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
The national average price of diesel has decreased 3.5 cents compared to a week ago, standing at $3.628 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.
Survey data from 295 gas stations throughout Corpus Christi showed that the cheapest station in Corpus Christi sold gas at $2.47 per gallon on Oct. 12, while the most expensive charged $3.30 gallon — a difference of 83 cents per gallon.
