( NewsNation ) — The father of Kaylee Goncalves, one of four University of Idaho students murdered by Bryan Kohberger in 2022, says he has heard of the killer’s struggles in Idaho’s supermax prison.

In addition to Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapain and Xana Kernodle were also murdered.

Steve Goncavles and his daughter, Alivea, joined “ Banfield ” on Tuesday to discuss the latest updates surrounding the murders.

“I have heard that he isn’t doing so well in that prison system that he’s in, the block that he’s at. He’s very adamant that he has rights in there that need to be respected,” Steve Kohberger said.
