A teenager charged in connection with the death of a Southwestern Oklahoma State University student appeared in court Tuesday.

Cameron Lewis, 18, is facing one felony count of abusing a corpse, while the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation continues to investigate the case as a homicide.

Tuesday night, friends and the SWOSU community will gather in Weatherford to remember Logan Musil, whose body was found last week near Veterans Lake in Sulphur, weeks after he was reported missing.

Logan, an 18-year-old freshman, had just started his first semester at SWOSU and was beginning to make friends. Court documents reveal one of those friends was Lewis. The two met on campus and traveled together to Purcell on September 12. Logan was never seen again.
