Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched the first postseason complete game since 2017 and Teoscar Hernández and Max Muncy homered in the Dodgers’ 5-1 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers Tuesday in Milwaukee in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series.

Yamamoto pitched a three-hitter, shutting out the Brewers after Jackson Chourio hit his first pitch for a home run, struck out seven and walked one as the Dodgers took a two games to none lead in the best-of-seven series.

Since the NLCS moved to its current best-of-seven format in 1985, teams taking 2-0 leads have gone on to win the series 14 of 17 times.

The Dodgers took a 2-1 lead in the second on Hernandez’s one-out homer. Kiké Hernández singled one out later and scored on Andy Pages’ double.
