The Indian cricket team has left for its much-awaited white-ball tour of Australia. Players departed from New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday morning.

The series includes three ODIs and five T20Is, starting Sunday in Perth. This tour marks the return of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to international cricket after their Champions Trophy 2025 triumph. Both stars, now focusing on ODIs, will aim to prove their value ahead of the 2027 World Cup in South Africa.

New Leadership, Familiar Pressure
