Leon Andus Antonius Boeyen was charged in May with being an accessory after the fact to murder and concealing an indictable offence, more than 31 years after 49-year-old Ms Sowry disappeared .

Wollongong Local Court heard on Wednesday that some material for the brief of evidence was still outstanding, including results from the Forensic and Analytical Science Service.
