Jan Suraaj Party leader Prashant Kishor has announced that he will not contest the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, describing the decision as being for the “greater good.” The 48-year-old former poll strategist has, however, set a 150-seat target for Jan Suraaj Party, warning that anything less would be “considered a defeat.”
Kishor’s announcement comes after the party released two candidates' lists , neither of which included his name. This raised speculation on whether the former poll strategist would contest the high-stakes polls.
