Palisade Town Administrator Janet Hawkinson is one of four finalists for the town manager position in Winter Park.

According to a story in the Aspen Daily News, the four finalists are Hawkinson, Pitkin County Manager Jon Peacock, John Fussa, community development director in Parker, and Todd Leopold the central regional manager for the Colorado Department of Local Affairs.

The four finalists were announced on Monday for the position that was vacated in July when Winter Park’s former town manager, Keith Riesberg, announced his resignation.

Peacock is a recognizable name for some in Mesa County. Before taking the county manager job in January 2011, he spent three years as the assistant county administrator and five years as county administrator for Mesa County.
