Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that took place at a Korean barbecue restaurant in La Habra.

Officers were called to the 1240 block of West Imperial Highway around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a shooting at Gui Gui 9292 Korean BBQ. There, a man and a woman were found with serious injuries and died at the scene.

Part of the parking of the restaurant has been closed off as officers continue their investigation.

Police say it appears one person shot the other and then took their own life. The identities of the deceased was not revealed. It’s unclear how, or if, they knew each other.

The investigation is ongoing.
