MEDICAL LAKE, Wash. – The Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake announced its expanding the site's columbarium section.

The significant addition includes eight new walls with around 5,000 niches.

Cemetery representatives said the expansion will meet the interment needs of veterans and their families for years to come.
