Jammu, Oct 15: The Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet, headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, is scheduled to meet today at 4 PM in Srinagar’s Civil Secretariat to deliberate on key development and legislative proposals ahead of the upcoming Assembly session starting October 23.
The Cabinet is expected to consider increasing the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for MLAs from ₹3 crore to ₹4 crore per annum, responding to long-standing demands from legislators. The fund was last revised in 2018 and remained unchanged after the new government assumed office in 2024.
