Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman will inaugurate four new Farmers’ Training and Agro-Processing Centres across the Kalyana Karnataka region on October 15, 2025. The centres, located in Koppal, Raichur, Ballari, and Vijayanagara districts, have been established through contributions from the Minister’s MPLADS fund in partnership with NABARD. The initiative aims to transform the region’s agricultural value chain and boost rural livelihoods.
This initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to strengthen the agri-based economy, promote self-reliance among farmers, and create employment opportunities in rural areas.
