LAUPAHOEHOE (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaii Police Department advises the public to avoid Hawaii Belt Road (Hwy. 19) at Kawali’i Gulch due to a brush fire.

Police said to avoid the area for the next 2 hours.

The road is closed in both directions.
