CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - An 18-year-old man was critically injured in a shooting on the city’s East side early Wednesday.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. at the Lakeshore Beach Apartments in the 16000 block of Lakeshore Blvd.

The victim then apparently tried to drive himself, but collapsed at E. 152nd Street and Waterloo Road.

That is in the city’s North Collinwood neighborhood.

Cleveland EMS transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.
