DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Our unseasonably warm October weather will continue into the first part of the weekend.
While clouds will dominate part of today, it'll still be rather warm across Central Illinois with highs around 80°.
It'll stay near 80° Thursday and Friday.
A strong cold front approaches Saturday kicking off showers and thunderstorms late Friday night into Sunday morning.
Some of the storms Saturday could be on the strong side, but the better chances of severe weather should stay south of us.
Much-needed rain is expected with an inch or more possible.
