Your selection of letters in Sunday’s edition was commendable. Residents are finally thinking and expressing their views. The stadium fiasco is a political and financial jungle — think hard about finishing that white elephant (“Stadium is result of political gravy train,” Star-Advertiser, Letters, Sept. 12) .
On rail, the population of Oahu is not and never will be large enough to financially support or utilize this monstrosity (“Set restraints before rail extension study,” Star-Advertiser, Sept. 12) . Had the money been directed to the already good bus system, we would be much better prepared to reduce traffic.
