October is just zipping by, and the high school football season is hitting the home stretch, with several teams facing make or break games in the coming weeks when it comes to their postseason hopes. The volunteers who operate the concession stands at the games have been busy, too, and we're here for it!

Our high school football concessions poll has cleared its first hurdle — determining the top 8 schools based on our online poll. More than 1,500 votes have been cast, and as we described earlier, we're now pitting those top 8 schools against each other in our bracket-style contest. The schools who finished sixth, seventh and eighth were all tied with the same number of votes, so we just listed them alphabetically to determine seeding.
