A Wellsboro man tested positive for cocaine following a high-speed, multivehicle crash along Butler’s Main Street on Sept. 14 that caused another driver and himself to be flown to Pittsburgh hospitals.

David P. Marble III, 39, has been charged with felony aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence as well as misdemeanor driving under the influence and summary disobeying traffic control devices and reckless driving.

Marble was taken by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital for undisclosed injuries, while the driver of another vehicle, identified as Brent Hoelzer, was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh for serious bodily injuries.
