In the final two minutes of the first half of Auburn’s 20-10 loss to Georgia , the mood in the stadium quickly went from excitement to anger.
There was anger from fans, players, coaches and even administrators. As the teams were jogging into the locker room at halftime, Auburn athletic director John Cohen joined head coach Hugh Freeze on the sideline to yell at the officials, as yet another controversial call hadn’t gone Auburn’s way.
