YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The regular season is winding down; week nine is here.

We’ll get three days of football in the area this weekend, highlighted by Fitch-Boardman, Springfield-McDonald, Mooney-South Range, Harding-Massillon and the big one in the MVAC Grey Tier: Crestview at Garrettsville Garfield.

Here’s a rundown of a number of conference races as well as games scheduled to take place this weekend:

Thursday, Oct. 16 Sharon (5-3) at Titusville (1-7) -Last year, the Tigers topped Titusville in the district semifinal, 40-7, after defeating the Rockets three weeks prior during the regular season, 63-22. Sharon has won their last 3 since beginning the season at 2-3. Titusville has dropped their last three games by allowing a total of 120 points.
