New Delhi: Indian Railways is undergoing one of the most ambitious modernisation programmes in its history, with a special focus on the development of Vande Bharat 4.0 as the government plans to expand the fleet in the domestic market as well export the semi-high speed trains to foreign nations.

Speaking during the inauguration of the 16th International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE) 2025, Union Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Wednesday that the Vande Bharat 4.0 will be built as per the world-class technology and passenger comfort will be at the forefront.
