NEW YORK (PIX11) – Have you recently bought an item that has since been recalled?
Food products, such as rice and cinnamon, have been the subject of recent recalls. The most recent recall has affected rice produced by Ben's Original, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
To seek a refund for a recalled product, the FDA recommends that consumers contact the company that sold the item. For the Ben's Original recall, the FDA's notice lists a phone number for customers to call if they bought Ready Rice Long Grain White Rice, Ready Rice Whole Grain Brown Rice or Ready Rice Long Grain & Wild Rice.
The rice products may contain small stones, according to the FDA. Customers should expect to get a full refund for the product.
