ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. — The Rockdale County Sheriff's Office is mourning the passing of a deputy, following what they called a "courageous battle with blood cancer."
The sheriff's office on Tuesday announced the passing of Deputy Quintavious Brown, who died on Sunday.
"Quintavious was a valued member of our team for 5 years, bringing dedication, warmth, and professionalism to everything he did," a statement on Facebook said. "His smile was contagious and his contributions to our agency and the lives he touched along the way will never be forgotten. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside him. He will be truly missed."
