The SAAQ is reportedly cutting about 100 positions.

Radio-Canada is reporting the cuts will be across all sectors of the Quebec Auto Insurance Board.

The SAAQ has been under scrutiny following the SAAQclic fiasco which cost tax payers over $500 million more than planned.

The overspending led to a public inquiry – the Gallant Commission.

Commissioner Denis Gallant is scheduled to submit his report by December 15.
