AUSTIN (KXAN) -- We've heard your cries, and finally, it appears some minor heat relief will arrive after a cold front around the middle of next week.

While a cold front this weekend will bring only a slight temperature change and rain, a second cold front is expected to knock temperatures down more noticeably next week.

Our long-term computer model guidance is consistently bringing a cold front sometime late Tuesday or into Wednesday of next week that will bring an end to the consistent 90s.

There's even signs that we may see Austin's first nights in the 50s at Camp Mabry since last spring. The coolest we've been in Austin this fall, so far, has been the low 60s.
