A Skiatook 911 dispatcher is being honored for saving a baby's life, and on Tuesday night, she got to meet the family in person for the first time.
She guided the mother through CPR over the phone and had the baby breathing again before medics arrived.
'Something's wrong with my baby'
It was one of the scariest moments of Brooklyn Field's life. She called 911 on Sept. 8 after her one-year-old daughter suddenly stopped breathing.
"Okay. Put your phone on speakerphone. You're going to want to lie flat on her back on a hard surface." On the other end of the line was dispatcher Ashley Williams.
