CONCORD, N.H. —

The New Hampshire Supreme Court will hear an appeal from a Manchester man convicted of killing his 5-year-old daughter.

Adam Montgomery was found guilty last year of murdering Harmony Montgomery in 2019. He was sentenced to 56 years to life in prison.

Montgomery and his lawyers now want his conviction overturned. Their appeal focuses on three mistakes they believe the court made during his trial.

A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
