STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Tottenville made an unexpected run to the PSAL 3A title game a year ago under first-year head coach Alfonso Castaneda Diaz before falling to perennial city power MLK 2-1.

The talented Pirates may or may not have snuck up on some people in the postseason after finishing second in the Island’s 3A, but with the loud statement last season they didn’t catch anyone by surprise in 2025.
