BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a big initiative to help the flood-ravaged people of Punjab by sanctioning Rs 1.60 lakh apiece to 36,703 families.

In a statement Chugh came down heavily on the Bhagwant Mann government for its dismal failure to provide details of the losses suffered by Punjab during the unprecedented floods.

The AAP government’s complete efficiency in this regard speaks volumes about the callousness it harbours for the state after looting it left and right, said Chugh.
