Gwyneth Paltrow has been keeping schtum about the biography about her that caused quite the stir when it was released over the summer , examining her early life, her personal relationships and her careers as an Oscar-winning actor and lifestyle guru.

That is, until now.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Shakespeare In Love star was unveiled as the new cover star of British Vogue. In the wide-ranging accompanying interview – which took place in July, just days after the biography’s release – Gwyneth was asked whether she’d read the book herself.

Her response? “Oh god no.”

That doesn’t mean those close to her didn’t take a peek, though.

“My husband flicked through it, just because I was like: ‘What is in this?’,” Gwyneth claimed.
