Police in Ganderbal conducted a mass disposal drive of the seized drugs. The District Level ‘Drug Disposal Committee, Ganderbal’ under the directions of SSP Ganderbal, destroyed huge quantity of the seized drugs and psychotropic substances, worth lacs.

The contraband and psychotropic substances that were seized in 23 NDPS Cases of district Ganderbal were disposed off, after obtaining proper permission from the competent court, through incineration method at Kashmir Health Care System, IGC Lassipora.

These contraband substances were destroyed under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Ganderbal, in presence of the magistrate.

The mass disposal of seized drugs is a significant step towards our commitment to eradicate drug abuse from the society.
